Meet Your Main Character
Workshop for ages 8-12
Who will your next story be about? In this fun, hands-on workshop for young writers, participants will invent an original character from the ground up. Led by a Story Studio instructor, this one-hour session will guide kids through creative prompts and activities to develop a rich character bio—complete with hopes, fears, quirks, and secrets. Whether your character is a hero, villain, or something in between, they’ll be ready to leap into their own adventure. With special guest Giselle Vriesen as our Writer in Residence, this is the perfect spark for your next great story.
This hands-on workshop is aimed at kids/youth. Because of capacity limitations, parents should prepare to drop off children.
