Sara Cassidy

Sarah Cassidy’s non-fiction and poetry have won numerous awards and her 21 children's books have been nominated for the City of Victoria Children’s Book Prize and the Governor General's Literary Award. She walks and works in sxʷeŋ'xʷəŋ taŋ'exw (James Bay) where lək̓ʷəŋən People have fished and gathered for thousands of years.
