Elinor Florence grew up on a Saskatchewan farm and built a journalism career across Western Canada, including at Reader’s Digest. A bestselling author, her novels Bird’s Eye View, Wildwood, and Finding Flora draw on her Scottish and Indigenous roots. She is Métis and lives in Invermere, British Columbia.
