Rachel yacaaʔał George

Rachel yacaaʔał George is nuučaańuł of Ahousaht and Ehattesaht. She is an Assistant Professor in Indigenous Studies at the University of Victoria and previously worked as the Research Coordinator for the Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Her research has focused on Indigenous politics, reconciliation, and pathways of decolonization through storied practice.
